Did you know?
48% of people cited a website’s design as the number one factor in deciding the credibility of a business1
In May 2023, 41% of consumers stated they've discovered a product on social media2
81% of shoppers choose to research a business online before making a purchase3

There are a number of statistics out there that confirm that the digital space is where the people are at. There is also A LOT of competition in that same space with the same goal: to gain the attention and business of those same people. While it can be intimidating for a small business or a nonprofit to figure out how to best stand out from the others or to amplify their message in a crowded and loud field, it is possible to identify and implement digital marketing strategies that can increase the awareness and consideration of future customers or members.
At Briniak Marketing, my goal is to support small businesses and nonprofits to build and grow their digital presence, whether through creating a professional-looking website, helping build content that draws attention, writing copy to motivate and inspire action, or creating opportunities to expand reach and audiences.
It is also extremely important to me that these opportunities are financially accessible - as someone who has worked in education, has been employed by a federal grant, and now is an owner of a one-woman operated business, I understand the need to find ways to meet my goals with either (1.) things I can do myself or (2.) services that are affordable and provide quality outcomes.
In additional to providing affordable rates and packages for the services I provide, I want to create a space that offers helpful, bite-size insights, resources and tools for other small businesses, nonprofits and educational entities that are easy to pick up and apply to help them build and grow their organizations online.

There are so many tools, articles, blogs, guides, data, etc. out there that can be overwhelming to absorb. I have also found that even though many of the providers of resources say these are for “small businesses,” usually they are still talking to organizations that have an actual marketing team or the budget to pay pretty large fees fo marketing services.
This space is truly for the one-to-few human operated businesses, the nonprofit CEO with a small team of volunteers, and the business owners that are expanding their team, yet are still working towards profitability. I SEE you all and want to support each and every one of you, no matter where you are at, which is why I want to comb through these resources and chunk out what may be the most relevant for growing organizations.
As you see here, this is my first article, so the next few blogs I have planned will be more “beginning” digital marketing topics. I hope you find some insights that you can use within your own business or nonprofit, however know that I have bookmarked a number of resources to help all of us in our digital marketing growth, including:
SEO tools and trends
Social media strategies
Online stores and ecommerce optimization
Content development and organization
Email/Newsletter marketing tactics
Website design and strategy
Aligning digital marketing to the customer journey

So, welcome to the Briniak Community! I am excited for us to continue learning, building and growing together as we move towards broadening our reach in the digital world. My hope is to post 2-3 times a week, and while I don’t offer notifications when a new article drops, I will be starting a twice-monthly newsletter to share and recap what’s new and upcoming - I hope you’ll consider joining!
